Obituary of Maryanne Perko
Maryanne (nee O'Donnell) Perko, age 80, of York, PA, and formerly of Parkside, PA, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at home. Born in Chester , PA, Maryanne had been a long time resident of Parkside, PA, before moving to York, PA, 16 years ago.
Maryanne was a graduate of Eddystone High School. She worked as a Bookkeeper throughout Delaware County, PA and York County, PA, until her retirement in 1995.
Maryanne was a former parishioner for more than 30 years, of The Church of Our Lady of Charity, Brookhaven, PA.
She was a member of Our Lady of Charity and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
Maryanne enjoyed travelling with her late husband, especially to Switzerland, and camping at both the Poconos and the Seashore. Maryanne led an active and fulfilled life, and she especially cherished time with her friends, family and most of all, her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Francis "Frank" E. Perko, Sr., who died August 2006.
