Obituary of George A. Lock
George A. Lock, age 67, of Brookhaven, PA, died surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the Taylor Hospice House. George was a 1964 graduate of Nether Providence High School. George was a decorated U.S. Army Veteran, who served in Vietnam. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal W/2 Bronze Service Stars, Purple Heart, Sharpshooter (Rifle) and Combat Infantryman Badge.
George was employed with the US Postal Service for 29 years, where he started as a mail carrier and retiring as a maintenance worker in 2003. Previously, he worked with Westinghouse, as a store attendant for 9 years, until Westinghouse closed.
George was a member of the Vilas, NJ VFW Post #543, the Wildwood, NJ, American Legion Post #0184 and lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter #16.
George loved his retirement at the seashore and times spent with his family.
Son of the late David E. and Margaret Rhoads Lock, Sr., husband of the late Susan Stanton Lock, who died on October 1, 2011 and brother of the late David Lock.

2 Sons: George W. (Tina) Lock of Springfield, PA, and David J. (Stacey) Lock of Aston, PA
3 Brothers: John Sr., Warren (Bud) and William Sr. Lock
3 Grandchildren: Georgie, Trey and Colin
