Obituary of Joyce L. Turnicky

Joyce L. (Newlin) Turnicky, 74, of Boothwyn, PA, died Saturday, February 2, 2013, surrounded by her loving family at Taylor Hospice House, Ridley Park, PA. Mrs. Turnicky was a graduate of Chester High School. She was employed in Human Resources with Garnet Valley School District from 1986 until her retirement in 2003. Formerly she worked in the Operations Department of Ship-N-Shore, Upland, PA. Mrs. Turnicky was an active member of Middletown Presbyterian Church, Media, PA and served in various ministries. Joyce enjoyed traveling with her church where she made wonderful memories visiting England and Scotland. She took great pleasure in genealogy, especially searching for her Newlin family ancestors. Joyce was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who most of all, loved spending time with her family, especially her great-granddaughter, Isabella. Joyce will also be missed by her four legged companion, Timber. Joyce was the daughter of the late William H. and Margaret (Gross) Newlin and sister of the late William H.
