Obituary of Betty J. DiStefano

Betty J. Eyre DiStefano, age 88, of Upland, PA, died Monday, December 31, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born and raised in Chester, PA. She was the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Cornelia A. Lafay Eyre. Betty started waitressing at the Rainbow Diner in Chester, PA and over many years was employed by other local diners. She was an avid Phillies and Sixers fan. Betty loved to cook for her family, spend time gardening and weekend rides with the girls. Most of all, Betty enjoyed the times she spent with her family especially her grandchildren. Wife of the late Louis J. DiStefano, Sr. who died in 2000. Mother of the late Patricia Snodgrass and sister of the late Emily Dryden, Miriam McGinnis and Gus Eyre. Survivors: 2 Sons: Louis J. DiStefano, Jr. of Pomona, CA and James R. DiStefano of Upland, PA. Daughter: Deborah J. O'Donnell of Secane, PA 9 Grandchildren 12 Great-Grandchildren
