Obituary of Evelyn R. Ferro

Evelyn R. (nee Lyons) Ferro, 98, of Chester, PA died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at The Belvedere Nursing Center. Mrs. Ferro was born November 2, 1914 in Chester, PA where she was a life-long resident. Mrs. Ferro graduated from Chester High School, class of 1933. Evelyn was employed as a Manger with Security Savings and Loan, Chester, PA, until her retirement. Evelyn enjoyed traveling and vacations at the shore. Most of all, she treasured spending time with her family. Evelyn was a member of the Crozer Chester Ladies Auxiliary serving for over 50 years. She also worked as an Election Clerk in the First Ward Section of Chester, PA for over 30 years. Evelyn was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth N. Ferro who died March 20, 1945, while serving his country in Germany during World War II. SURVIVORS Son and Daughter-in-Law: Kenneth C.
