Obituary of John E. Leonard

John E. Leonard, age 79, of Brookhaven, PA, formerly of Darby, PA, died Sunday, November 18, 2012, after a courageous battle against Pulmonary Fibrosis. Mr. Leonard was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. John was employed at the U.S. Postal Service for more than 30 years before his retirement. After retirement, John worked part-time at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA. John was active with the Colwyn Comets organization and the Darby Little League. John was a huge Notre Dame fan. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family especially, his grandchildren.
