Obituary of Otto J. Zitarelli

Otto J. Zitarelli, 85 years, of Aston, PA, died at home on Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Mr. Zitarelli was born in Chester, PA and has resided in Aston Twp. since 1967. He served as a Police Sergeant for the Aston Twp. Police Department until his retirement. Otto was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served his country during World War II. Earlier in his life, Otto was employed with Baldwin Locomotive Company, where he was an officer of the local union. He served as a Chairman of the Police Civil Service Commission of Aston Twp. Otto was a member of the Church of St. Francis De Sales in Lenni, PA. He was also a member of Killen Miles VFW Post # 87 and the West End Boat Club. The most important thing to Otto was his family. Mr. Zitarelli was the husband of the late Anna Marie (Meehan) Zitarelli who died in 1983.
