Obituary of Mary Evelyn Schwalm

Mary Evelyn Schwalm, Was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. Mary Evelyn Schwalm, 77, of Mesa, Arizona and formerly of Delaware County, PA, was called home to our Lord on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, her husband at her side. Mary was born in Upland, PA, on October 1, 1934 to the late Andrew B. and Mildred (Harrison) Glaus, Sr. Mary graduated in 1952 from Media High School. She excelled at her job in employee relations management at Boeing-Vertol and retired after twenty-five years. Mary was the wife of the late Ernest Yarnall and mother of the late Danny Yarnall, who passed away in 1982. Mary traveled extensively and was an artist at heart, loved painting, crafts, cooking and yard sales, but loved family more. She was happiest welcoming and spending time with family and visitors in Mesa and at the beach house where everyone was always "Welcome as the flowers in Spring." She taught the family, and all who knew her, through her loving heart, graciousness and her bravery, through this long battle with cancer. She never lost her smile or compassion.
