Obituary of Frederick A. Manna, Jr.

Frederick A. Manna, Jr. age 90, of Aston, PA, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, died at home on Thursday, April 18, 2024.

Fred graduated from Southern High School, Philadelphia, PA.

Mr. Manna was employed with LaFrance Casket Company.  He also worked for 28 years in security at Wallingford Swarthmore School District.

Fred was a parishioner of the Church of St. Joseph in Aston, PA.  He enjoyed bowling, crabbing, fishing and especially enjoyed working.

Husband of 38 years to the late Jean A. Welsh Manna, Son of the late Frederick L. and Mildred Corrato Manna; Father of the late Frederick Manna; Brother of the late Daniel, Marie and his twin sister Dolly; Uncle of the late Millie; Father-in-law of the late Bea Manna.

Survivors:

Daughters: Sharon L. Bradley, Donna J. (Danny) Johnston and Cathy T. Manna

Son: Dan F. Manna

Also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren and Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Thursday, April 25^th  after 10:30AM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Thursday, April 25^th at 11: 30AM at the funeral home.

Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
