Obituary of Martha Mary "SUGAR" White

Martha Mary “SUGAR” (nee Renoff) White, age 90, of Fox Hill Farms, Glen Mills, PA, formerly of S.W. Philadelphia, PA, and Drexel Hill, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 2, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  Sugar was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls, Class of 1950.

Sugar was an avid roller skater and enjoyed skiing.  She loved to travel and for 30 years, Sugar and George have been snow birds in Florida.  Sugar also loved spending time at their shore house, where she enjoyed spending time on the beach. She was an amazing cook and lived for the holidays with her family who she was devoted to. Her Catholic faith was central to her being.

Daughter of the late Peter and Martha Stewart Renoff; Grandmother of the late Kelly Lynn Fynes.

Survivors:

Devoted Husband of 72 years: George W. White

Sons: George (Karen) White, Bill (Denise) White

Daughter: Barbara Fynes

Grandchildren: Joshua (Ellen) White, Kim Fynes, Jennifer (Kevin) Stinger, Tim (Luisa) White, Jim (Diana) Fynes, Nicki (Joe) McGuigan

Great-Grandchildren: Liam, Reid, Lillian, Isaac, Victoria, Sloan

Visitation: Saturday, June 10^th from 1:00-1:45PM at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, 430 Valleybrook Rd., Glen Mills, PA 19342.

Funeral Mass: Saturday, June 10^th at 2:00PM at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle.

Interment will be private.
