Obituary of Denise M. Brauer

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother and beloved Wife, Denise M. Brauer (Basher), age 85, of Aston, PA who passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021. Denise was born in Drexel Hill, PA and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School.

She is the daughter of the late Margaret Mary (Kelly) and Walter L. Basher.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert P. Brauer, whom she shared her life with for 63 wonderful years, as well as her four devoted daughters, Maryellen McLaughlin (Mike), Deborah Hagan (Alex), Denise DeRosa (Rick), Karen Fascenda (Jerry), step-son, Joey Brauer, her brother Walter Basher, sister, Anne Jacobs and eleven amazing grandchildren and eleven beautiful greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her loving Grandmother Della Bridget Kelly, Uncle Paul Kelly and loving Sister, Ellen, M. Blythe.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends along with her yearly trips to Ocean City, MD. Her hobbies included gardening, reading, and solving her crossword puzzles. She was the kindest and most compassionate mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She looked forward to every family gathering and made life extra special for her family. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation: Saturday, October 9th from 9:00-10:15AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Saturday, October 9th at 10:30AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery.
